Planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."<BR/>What hopeful maturity and usefulness is also symbolized by the palm for the righteous! Thus, when I am old and feeble and gray, I will continue to take up the palm in my hand and declare that "the Lord is upright" and He has defeated sin and death so we might be saved!
