When I was a child growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area - I could not comprehend the nature of the fans who celebrated their regional identity with an oil derrick. There was something basically wrong with a football team that had no imagination than to call themselves OILERS.
I also remember finding Christians and their archaic and unreasonable beliefs incomprehensible as well.
Now geography has taught be to love the Oilers and I have been persuaded that the Christians were right after all.
But boy am I glad when he changed the name to Titans.
