You'll have to explain to me how you ever sleep at night with 5 books on the nightstand. I fall asleep reading on the couch before I even make it to the bed!

Wondering what made you pick up Schlossberg's Idols... since it is not newly published?

Dana: Actually, three of these books are not new. But, the Sproul and the Schlossberg books are classics and should be reread from time to time and the book on the Scots is just lots of fun!

I've been reading the one on the Scots by Herman for a couple of weeks. Not sure he is too fond of the covenenters?

Schlossberg is yet another key author who borrowed from Herman Dooyeweerd (along with 5000 other brilliant people he borrowed from). The first chapter on Historicism is very much a Dooyeweerdian theme. Schlossberg is worth reading just for the quotes from other authors.

I look forward to hearing your comments on the "fun" Scots book. I read it earlier this year and loved it.

Also, have you read Solomon among the Postmoderns yet? I'd love to hear your take on that one, too.
