Linda: Jessica and Joey did great in the half--I am very proud of them both. And Cahl was amazing in the full marathon. I think his time was somewhere around 4:15, which is really incredible for a first marathon.

The weather cooperated perfectly, the crowds were great, and the organization was wonderful.

Now, if I could just get an official time for my run!

Dr. Grant,
I am curious how one gets involved in the kings meadow group? I am 25 and recognize my generation longs for a worldview that engages the mind as much as it engages the emotive. The unfortunate diminishing of the critical mind within many churches is hearbreaking, as I find the Bible elevates both. I have read your blogs and listened to the pod casts, and recognize kings meadow emphasising the importance of a persons mental development alongside their spiritual. It has been refreshing for me. Thus, what can you recommend for someone like myself? If you could please email me your thoughts that would be great, and thanks for taking time to read this.

Congratulations on your completion of the marathon.

Best...

Hooray for you!! Wow!! The OKC marathon is tomorrow - I plan to eat donuts on the sideline (it's important to have clear goals). Congratulations!

Never had any doubts! Hats off to you from your friends in St. Louie! Did you break the 4 hour mark? Do tell!

Diane: Thank you so much. I still haven't gotten the official chip time, but according to the gun time I ran a 3:42:23. I started in the 7th corral, so that means my chip time should be somewhere in the 3:36 or 3:37 neighborhood. I think I just missed qualifying for Boston. But, believe me, I am thrilled.

Congratulations George! Your run blog is an inspiration to me and a motivator too! I am running the Bix 7 in July and hope to run the CM 1/2 marathon next year.
