It would be well if everyone would read Flood's book Lee-The Last Years. The quotes from Lee's letters to his staff and other generals are priceless in their wisdom
There have been very men in our nation(s)'s history of the character, ability, commitment to God's authority, and true meekness as Robert Edward Lee. His legacy is absolutely astounding.
