Christianity's Dangerous Idea

Christianity's Dangerous Idea: The Protestant Revolution; A History from the Sixteenth Century to the Twenty-First, by Alister McGrath, has been one of my favorite (and most frequently revisited) books during this quincentennial of Protestantism’s great Gospel reclamation. It is a remarkable retelling of a sprawling tale across all the years and all the miles, including fascinating profiles of a wildly varied cast of characters: from Luther and Calvin to Bach and Milton. Highly recommended.

This is on my to-be-read list. Thank you for the recommendation. In the same vein- I wonder if you ever have an inclination (or the time to scratch that itch) to list the books you read in 2017. Or the books you hope to read in 2018. One of my greatest pleasures is reading (and stealing ideas from) the booklists of those I greatly admire.

And I know you like lists...

I do indeed love lists. I've been posting my favorite reads on my Facebook page. But, we're preparing a whole new website and we're moving my blog over there. When we do, I'll have a whole new section of book reviews and posts.
