The Claremont Institute argues that a revival of a marriage culture in modern America depends on convincing women that marriage should precede childbirth and that children need their biological fathers at home. Ummm, well duh! Apparently though, these dumb certainties have somehow eluded most Americans.

As the old Prof used to say, "It's intuitively obvious to the casual observer..." But, it certainly hasn't been obvious to the Modern observer whose vision has been myopic.
I will have to read this later. I'm curious as to whether the article includes insights on what today's MEN need to be convinced of if a marriage culture is to be "revived." There are plenty of unmarried, no children, beautiful and intelligent women who want to be married. For more about that, see a new book with survey: Where Have All The Good Men Gone? (aimed at Christian men and women) by AJ Kiesling.
